Okay, I know I say this for a lot of my clients… but seriously, how is this little guy ONE already?! I feel like it was just yesterday he was in here for his newborn portraits. I have loved working with this family for a few years now… their first baby’s newborns and own donut smash, plus some Christmas portraits too! It’s so special to be able to see them year after year. When they told me it was time to plan another donut smash for their youngest baby, I couldn’t believe it. But, we got right to work to create this custom setup and we all had a blast with the birthday boy!

Donut Smash for First Birthday

For this family, donuts are simply more than a favorite dessert. This little guy’s parents absolutely LOVE donuts and had them at their wedding. When their first baby turned one, we also did a donut smash for him. And so, when they told me they wanted to incorporate donuts into their youngest’s first birthday portraits, I was excited! It was a new challenge – and I loved creating a totally custom setup for the birthday boy. It looks SO different from his brother’s setup!! I think it’s so fun that they love incorporating donuts into all of their big moments as a family. What a fun tradition!!

As you can see, the birthday boy was more than ready to have his photos taken. He was ALL smiles for me. And doesn’t he just have the cutest smile?! He definitely didn’t disappoint when it came to enjoying the donuts. Although I know his parents “Donut” want him to grow up, we were all excited to celebrate this special milestone for him in my Las Vegas studio!
