Floyd Lamb Park
This is not your typical desert park in Las Vegas. It is a beautiful park with lots of green trees and four little ponds you can actually fish from. It even has peacocks, ducks, geese and bunnies running around freely. It is a pretty big park with lots of areas that make it a great location for photo sessions. It is definitely one of my favorite places to shoot and the best part is that it isn’t too far. Most of the other locations I like to shoot are beautiful but sort of far so this is perfect especially if you live on the North side of town. When this couple first contacted me their first choice was Floyd Lamb Park because they live close by and come visit often. It was important to them to have the session somewhere they regularly hangout.
We started the session at the front of the park by the white buildings and bridge in casual clothing attire. I love this little area and usually begin all my sessions here. We made our way to that beautiful pathway where all the trees come together and form an arch. I thought it was the perfect spot to hop into a couple maternity gowns and get some beautiful flowy goodness going through the dresses. We finished up the session back into a comfy yet cute outfit by the pond. I think we got a good variety of images and love how it all turned out. I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby soon!
Floyd Lamb is such a cool hidden oasis in Vegas and the variety of settings are awesome but she had places for us to take pictures we’d never seen so it was cool to get the variety
I’m absolutely in love with how these pictures turned out! I wasn’t sure if I’d like maternity pictures but susy helped make sure I stood in ways that were flattering and got great angles and I couldn’t be happier with the results
